Bronte Beach

The Bronte Village upgrade has been completed and looks great. New paving and widened footpaths, underground power and new multi-purpose light poles have made a huge improvement. Unfortunately, the path to the beach remains a bottle-neck due to Labor Councillors blocking a new wider access path into the park opposite the crossing. Sydney buses also refuse to move the drop off to the terminus across the road and advise that the Union don’t support it which is very frustrating for residents.

The Cutting car park is slated for an upgrade with a new footpath that will narrow the road width to 3-metres along its whole length and install 5-metre-high multi-purpose light poles. We have ensured that there has been a full consultation on these changes and that residents are able to have their say. The Liberals agree with local residents and do not support excessive lighting being installed in the Cutting.
