Putting Waverley First

Our team will:

✅ Maintain Campbell Parade as a transport corridor and fight any attempt by the Greens to make it a shared pedestrian and bus zone and divert traffic onto local streets

✅ Increase motor bike, electric vehicle spaces and bicycle parking at Bondi Beach

✅ Enhance the bike lane network in Bondi to provide safe access for cyclists

✅ Reinstate our policy of regular collection of dumped rubbish to clean up our streets

✅ Install low-level gardens in Campbell Parade between Wairoa Ave and Ramsgate Ave to replace the existing concrete islands

✅ Continue to prohibit alcohol consumption at Bondi Park and restart family-friendly programs that discourage anti-social behaviour in the summer months

✅ Improve lighting in Bondi Park and along the promenade to provide a greater sense of security at night

✅ Protect heritage and only introduce the Urban ConservationAreas where the streetscape is consistent and of heritage value
